The Whitley County Community Foundation was built on the idea that a substantial amount of money can be accumulated over time, from contributions large and small. This money is never spent, but instead pooled and invested for long-term growth. The interest income earned from the endowment funds is used to award grants to local charitable organizations and projects as directed by the donors. We exist as a tool for people from various walks of life to make a lasting difference to things they care about in our community.
