Richard ‘Kit’ Redman Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Kit Redman by Kit's family and friends. Kit was the Captain of the 1966-1967 undefeated Columbia City Joint High School football team. This scholarship is available to a Columbia City High School graduating senior that is or was on the CCHS high school football team and has aspirations of achieving any postsecondary education may apply. No application required. Chosen by the head coach of the Columbia City High School football team.

KitRedman

The Richard Kit Redman Memorial Football Scholarship was established in 2012 by his family and friends to honor his life and love of football. Kit was the captain of the 1966-1967 undefeated CCHS football team and received a football scholarship to Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a player who has demonstrated leadership, teamwork, determination, and a love for the spirit of the game.


This scholarship may be used towards tuition, books, supplies, or any other school related expense in relation to the recipients educational needs.


Criteria
 This scholarship is available to a graduating Columbia City High School senior who has been/is a member of the CCHS Football team.
 The recipient will be chosen annually by the head football coach.
 Applicant that is pursuing a bachelors, associates, or vocational degree.
