Tyler Andreas Memorial Football Scholarship

The award goes to a Columbia City senior girl or boy that is a member of the CCHS football team. The student must demonstrate excellent team spirit and team play. Award is chosen by the coaches.

The Tyler Andreas Memorial Football Scholarship was established in 2011 by his friends and family as a means of paying tribute to Tyler and honoring his memory. A member of the Columbia City High School football team, Tyler possessed a remarkable work ethic and fully embraced Eagle Pride. He was as fearless on the football field as he was compassionate at home and in school. He had boundless dedication to his team and great love for his family and friends. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating member of the CCHS football team who best reflects Tyler’s values, work ethic and character.

Criteria include:
1. Columbia City Senior football player
2. Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better (as of the completion of junior year).
3. Applicant that is pursuing a bachelors or associates degree
4. Applications must be completed and turned in prior to or at the time
equipment is turned in at the end of the season
