THE MARGARET “MARGO” KALER LANGOHR ART SCHOLARSHIP was established by Margo to help Whitley County students further their education in art. Mrs. Langohr was a longtime resident and educator in Whitley County, where she taught Junior High History. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University and a Master’s degree from Columbia University. Margo continued her passion for art even as she was losing her sight. The picture on the cover of this scholarship application, “May Your Light Shine Through My Darkness” was painted by Margo at a time when her eyesight was severely limited.
